On tap. Pours a light hazy golden of color with a white head. An aroma of hops and weak malt. A grainy flavor with hops.

Moravius (1508) - Berlin, GERMANY - OCT 28, 2017

Tap at the Schankhaus in Radeberg - hazy golden color, thick white head. carbonation is rather high. dry and quaffable. I am happy to be here in radeberg, even though the town is a bit depressing on a rainy sunday october day. visting the breweries is always best, though.

pootzboy (1823) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 11, 2017
On tap @ Bent Elbow – Taps a cloudy pale gold with a massive bone white cap in the authentic Zwikelbier glassware. Has a nice tutonic lager nose- bready, light woodiness some grassiness – flavour is solid craft lager – sold bredy malt spine with woody-musty tones from the nobles and a drying finish with a bready lemon-honey type finish – classic Zwickel and a really deeply satisfying lager

Draft. Hazed gold. This is delicoius stuff, wasn’t anticipating the quality. Nice zippy, bready, refreshing.

Queen Anne Beerhall, Seattle. Hazy honey nose. Thin foam, slight haze yellow gold. Banana sweet grain, honey hints. Alright drinker, nice dusty grain. Solid.

Half pint draft at EPCOT for Food and Wine. Fairly earthy and lightly bitter landbier. Enjoyable and refreshing plus another zwickel tick!

Cloudy yellow gold poured into a 0.5L stein at Schmidts in San Francisco. Refreshing and light, yet earthy. Nice effervescence and extremely drinkable. Perfect for a summer day!
