Firkin tap at the brewery anniversary. Pours a hazy golden color with a light white head. Low carbonation. Aroma is pepper spice big time. Lots of warm notes. Flavor is light wood, big chili pepper with a warm tingle over the palate. deyholla (12583) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma is full of chili pepper and a bit of green pepper with just a touch of grain backing. Flavor works pretty well with a grain and grass backbone with a pepper combination overlying. Works surprisingly well. wesharebeer (6) - - SEP 7, 2012 does not count

Cask at the Gingerman. Light pour with a huge white head. Aroma is peppery and grainy. Taste is grainy bread and a more subdued chili flavor than most chili beers. Almost pleasant. For a chili beer.
