Faint sweet malt aroma. Orange-golden color. Medium to light palate with a nice smooth character. Sweet and woody malt with hints of caramel. Low hops presence. Decent beer.

Can. Tangerine in color with just a hint of haze and hardly any head. Aroma has bread crust, pretzels, a hint of herbal hops and a touch of fruitiness. The flavor expands on the nose, granting more intense and sharper notes of bread crust, peppery hops and tangy apricot. Carbonation is very low and the body, at a syrupy medium, is a bit heavy for the style.

Gold pour, disappearing white head. Nose is apple and toffee. Bittersweet. Middle is light carmel and soft brown bread. Finish is alcohol and medium hop bitterness.

From a can into a sampler glass at the St. Louis Brews club meeting, thanks for sharing. Clear orange amber colour with thin but persistent white foam, no lacing. Extremely faint aroma but pleasant, unoffensive. Flavour was super grainy, some marshmallo candy sweetness with a soft noble hop balance. Light body, average carbonation, mouthfeel was a little thin and metallic, alcoholic heat crept up in the aftertaste.

Pours a brown color with off-white head. Caramel malts on the nose with just a hint of hops. Finishes with a little sweet note.

Smells of malt and brown sugar and caramel.color is orange with small white foam. Taste is a little on the cloying and sweet side for this style. Could be a little more malty in my opinion. A little disappointed but still drinkable.

Glowing clear amber with a fleeting head. Decent pale bock/malt liquor style smell with alcohol and cereal grains. Smooth medium body. Mild pale bock flavors here are grainy yeasty bready and mildly swee

Tap at the Ginger Man, Houston, 21/05/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is malt forward, fruit, caramel. Taste comprises dark malts, toffee, sugar, fruits. Medium bodied, light booze in a sweetish finish. Pretty average - lacks depth for a 7.5% offering. Whelmed!

Clear golden; white head. Sweet, bready and boozy. Aroma? I can’t hardly smell anything... Just some sweet malt and a little booze. Oily, medium bodied.

Bottle. Poured a beautiful unfiltered dark yellow color with a nice frothy white top and amazing lacing. It’s all down here from there. Tasted bad: toffee, sweet malts, spice, caramel. I’m not a fan of the combination. Lingering nasty palate. Overall the 7.5% ABV is appreciated, but it’s not worth the taste
