Dark orange amber.
Can likely from Tavour or my last CA trip...hard to keep track.
Aroma is faint bread dough with some caramel, earth, verily light spice and hops. Body is pretty thin but crisp.
Flavor is malt heavy, semi sweet and slightly spicy and earthy still. Ok, but not a standout in style or overall. sjohnny (674) - - OCT 1, 2017
Slightly sweet malt. Dough. A hint of spice. Pours clear copper-amber with a couple of fingers of off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Medium bodied. Super malty. A little bit chewy. A hint of spice. A hint of grass. Some earthiness. And a crisp finish.

A good looking beer, clear copper-amber, frothy ivory head. Nose is autumn spice, earth, gourd. Medium, creamy feel. Toasted grain, caramel, autumn bitterness, slight metallic note in the finish. Very okay. Braudog (6836) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 10, 2017
Draft at DFW Airport. Dark for a festbier, almost brown! Very little activity or head.
This may be an old keg? Not much body either. Good-enough flavors, with more of an Americanized hop profile than you’d expect in a traditional fest, so this can be described as bitter and woodsy. (#6753, 8/10/2017) JohananaV2 (278) - Hurst, Texas, USA - AUG 10, 2017
It's kind of meh, I remember when this used to be one of my favorite Oktoberfest beers but there are just way to many better ones now.

Sample from can at Hy-Vee. Poured amber with a white off white head. Aroma was malty, light grass, caramel, nut. Taste was mild sweet, caramel malt, toasted grain. omhper (25744) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2017
Bottled, from Total Wine & More, Plano North. Clear amber, rich firm head. Perfumy malt aromatic nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Flora and husky with notes of caramel. Sugar and dough crysal malt. Mid bitter finish. Typical American style interpretation of the style. Well executed as such. Lacking some of the malt softness and near infinite drinkability that is what separates the best festbiers from the crowd. Skinnyviking (9720) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2016
Sample at GABF 2016. High creamy lasting off-white head. Clear dark amber body. Mild straw caramel aroma. Sweet malty straw caramel flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish. Bricktop86 (894) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - OCT 1, 2016
On tap dark brown with a white head. Aroma was earthy, toasty and sweet. Taste is lightly bitter and medium sweet, hayduke (5677) - Eureka, California, USA - FEB 9, 2016
Sampled at GABF 2015 in Denver. In the tasting glass was amber with off-white foam. Nose of rich caramel malts. Medium in body. Flavor is big malts with some fruit and nuts. Finishes spicy and clean. Pretty much to style and tasty.
