COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rahr's Red is a delicious, medium-bodied amber beer. As it crosses over your tongue, you'll notice a bit of caramel-like malt character. You'll also notice a slight hops bitterness-there to remind you that despite its subtle flavoring Rahr's Red is a Texas beer.

It is a dull red in color with no head or lacing. Average carbonation. Has some nutty aftertaste. Tastes of grass, hay, and leather.

Every so slightly hazy, reddish amber... Coarse white head with cascading lace. Aroma was wimpy, some sweet grainy malt, perhaps apricot. Not much punch at all in the flavor. Tastes like something youd get at BJs or another chain brewhouse.....some slightly toasty malts, bread. It just sort of dies in your mouth.

Amber in color... Caramel bready malt nose... Flavor is grains, caramel and toasted malts, zero complexity... Slightly astringent finish... Underwhelming ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Amber pour with a white clingy head. Dusty earthy malts. Just another boring amber.

Pours a cloudy amber, decent lacing. Bready, malty aromas. Very sweet, too much so, lots of caramel. Not the greatest.
