From notes, 5/11/11:
Rep’d Cowtown all the way by pouring a 12 oz bottle into my TCU pint glass.
Aroma: Very average here. Smell of biscuity malt and slight hops. Typical amber lager here in every way.
Appearance: Nice amber color with a quickly dissipating white foamy head. No lacing.
Taste: Pretty typical here as well. Again, the sweet, biscuity malts. Slight hops in the finish. Got a little of the tartness that others mentioned.
Palate: A little on the thin side for an amber lager. Carbonation was light. Mouthfeel clean and a little thin on the finish.
Overall: Good session beer to support my local brewery with. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it, either. ShawnC (76) - - SEP 22, 2012
Clean neutral nose. Slight caramel crystal malt nose. Hit upfront of caramel with a toasted peanut finish. Good carbonation.

Spicy aroma, sweet caramel taste with a hopped finish. Very carbonated mouthfeel, not unpleasant but noticeable.

Picked this up at a convenience store on the way to a friend’s for dinner since I forgot to hit up Spec’s for something good.
Dark amber with an off-white head. Caramel and spice aroma. Moderate sweetness. Tastes of malt with some honey and citrus. Not much finish.
Easy to drink. oddaroma (145) - Texas, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Enjoyed as Buffalo Butt. Bread and malt on every pull. I was surprised by this one due to the thin look of the poured beer. The flavor was deep and encouraged me drink another. A heavier body with a stronger a/c would be ideal but this one is on my "likes" list.

On draught at hyatt regency DFW. Taste is sweet with some light hop bitterness. Malty. Ok. GODiSSOUTHERN (390) - Virginia, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Tastes basically like a Killians Red with a little better ingredients. Not offensive and well balanced but nothing special. emeinz (224) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Bottle to glass courtesy of crajun, thanks Kevin! Nice amber pour with moderate white head. Aroma has bready and caramel notes. Nice slightly sweet finish. Not my favorite style, but is a decent session beer djd07 (16289) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 3, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small off white head. The aroma is a bready malt and caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop flavor and light bitter finish. Easy to drink a good vienna from Rahr. vyvvy (6834) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 16, 2012
Sampled at Schlafly 2012 Repeal Fest. Well guess after a number of good beers in a row at a fest I was bound to have one I didn’t like. This pours clear amber with a small beige head. The aroma has a modest amount of toast, some diacetyl, some nuttiness and a off sourness. Medium / light body with modest carbonation. The taste has nutty toasty malt with some medicinal characteristics. The finish has some spicy hops and a bit of caramel and just a touch of butter. Fair vienna.
