So it pours a cloudy bright yellow blah blah blah... looks like a wheat beer. Lets get to the nose. H.O.L.Y.C.R.A.P. I will never know what happened to account for this aroma. Very tart and rank, just bad. Not going to be able to taste this one. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - OCT 10, 2010
The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat with a little bit of banana and clove. I can tell this is a hefeweizen, but the aromas are not very strong. The flavor is mainly wheat, with a little bit of pepper and banana. I don’t really get any clove in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. 13mikey (503) - New Hope, Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2010
12 oz bottle courtesy of Ben. Dark yellow pour with some haziness, little to no head in spite of a vigorous pour. Heavy banana notes in the aroma with a hint of clove. Mouthfeel is more carbonated than I expected after not getting any head with the pour. Flavor is banana that quickly fades into a dry, almost smokey finish. taphandle (1135) - Texas, USA - AUG 22, 2010
Yellow and hazy - good head. Aroma of bubblegum and grapefruit - nice. Tastes very citrusy and tangy with a good hit of tartness. The finish of bubblegum lingers. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 1, 2009
Bottle. Old rating that I just found. Pours with a hazy golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon and light phenols. Taste is watery with banana, clove and lemon. Thin.

On tap at the brewery. Sorry, Rahr. I love you, but this isn’t a beer that I like to drink. drowland (8759) - Georgia, USA - SEP 10, 2009
Pours hazy gold with small white head that goes away immediately. The aroma is some banana bubblegum with huge phenolics. The flavor is is a bit sour with some chalk and a bit of banana and wheat. Light body and medium-high carbonation. 6ROW (473) - corpus christi, Texas, USA - JUL 20, 2009
orange pour with little to no head (standard for wheat beer). clove aroma and tangy taste due to the rye. i would have like to seen a little more yeast in it. will drink again! djd07 (14561) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 11, 2009
Bottle. Pours a orange golden with a medium frothy white head that leaves behind decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong banana and clove with bubblegum. Thin mouthfeel with a banana flavor with wheat and citrus. Easy to drink, a good German Hefe from Rahr.
