COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This German-style bock has a robust malt character and a dark amber hue. Hop bitterness is assertive - just enough to balance the malt flavor. Enjoy one in celebration of Fort Worth’s true visionaries.

The pour is a dark amber color with an off-white head. Lots of toffee and bread malt aromas with a touch of toast. There is a bit of a nuttiness in the background. Tastes much like it smells. Sweet bread and toffee with a hint of brown sugar. A nice nuttiness and perhaps even a hint of vanilla. It’s also a bit toasty with a mild fruitiness. Not bad at all.

22 oz. bottle from my buddy Bryan in Houston- thanks, Bryan! Pours a clear copper with a small eggshell colored head and some visible yeast sediment in the glass. Aroma of chocolate, brown sugar, nuts, toast, straw, and mild spice. Flavor of caramel and toasted malts, brown sugar, straw, grass, spice, and nuts. Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation and a sweet, malty mouthfeel. Not bad.

650ml bottle from D&Q .. Pours a dead murky brown .. no foam at all .. . aroma of old brown sugar .. . light mouth, goes down easy enough .. . meow, hi .. . an alright bock, but at 8-9 bucks a bottle, what a rip off for such a mediocre brew .. . another big step back from rahr .. . . I hope, when they die, cartoon characters have to answer for their sins..

Bottle. Pours with a hazed orange-brown hued body with a small, off-white head. Aromas are nutty, husky, spicy, herbal, and hoppy. Mild caramel, cereal grain and a bit astringent smelling. Flavors are nutty, biscuity and clean yeast wise. Some caramel, earthy with a hint of DMS. Medium bubbles. Not repeatable.

(22oz bomber thanks to TCUfroggie) clear light amber with creamy tan bubbles. Nose of raisins, chocolate wafers, and cream. Taste of watery grain, umami, peppercorns, chocolate, unsweet, herbal, anise, not good. Stewed tomatoes too. Lots going on, but doesn’t go well together.
