Pours dark brown with small tan head out of bottle. Aroma of malt, caramel, and toasted nuts. Flavor similar to aroma with emphasis on the toasted nuts.

Long Neck--> pint glass. Dark brown, large head. Aroma of rum raisin and molasses with notes of vanilla and pecan, very complex and hard to pin down. Hoppy taste, aftertaste brings back most of the aroma plus subtle spices and notes of espresso at the finish. Alcohol well concealed. Too much hops for the interesting mix of flavors but I don't notice it so much after a couple sips. It's a very decent ale and very tasty.

Deep mahogany pour with a nice tan head and good placing. Aroma is toast, nutty, and burnt caramel. Taste is nutty, toast, caramel, and some char. Much better than I remember. Nice malty and caramel aroma. A bread crust brown color with a good foamy head. Weighty palate with decent carbonation. Full feeling. Dark brown with a thin lasting tan head. Sweet malt aroma. Medium body with lots of malt with a little hop bitterness. I prefer drinking this beer just below room temperature i.e. 60-65 degrees. Filling finish.
