Courtesy bu11zeye. Dark ruby brown and a small off white layer of foam. Nose of lightly toasted malt, english hops, and airy, bready yeast. Flavor adds toffee and cocoa. Medium body, balanced. Easy drinking, would never guess 8%. Decent.

12oz bottle via trade with legion242 - Thanks - Pous dark brown with a short creamy tan head. Aromas of caramel, yeast, toffee, toasted malts, and a whiff of chocolate. Flavor is caramel, toffee, toasted malts, chocolate and even a little coffee. Medium body with light carbonation. Really though this wasnt too bad...

black pour with a khaki head that hangs around a little while. very sweet with lots of malts on the nose. a little thinner than i was expecting but overall a rather tasty beer. roasted malts and a slight dry chocolate aftertaste.

Draught. Another nice warmer that does not attack you with ABV. Dark brown pour that stays pretty still. Aroma is mostly sweet malt and toffee. Flavour is more malt and a little spice. Easy drinking.

bottle thanks to my girlfriend picked up from metzlers in denton, tx. poured a dark brown/black with a beige head. aroma of fruity notes, dark roasts, and caramel. flavor of dark roasts, caramel, and alcohol. medium body and high carb. when i visit the brewery this is what i drink if on tap.

Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 15, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours very dark coffee brown with a faint ruby glow. A big beige head left light lacing. Ground coffee and cocoa dust on the nose as well as some toasted malts. Flavor was big on roasted malts, coffee and cocoa. finish was crisp with the brew being medium in body, pretty good.

Via trade. Pours a dark brown with a two finger light tan head. The nose is sweet, malty, some corn, bready, . The flavor is crisp, bready, malty, mildly sweet, biting spice, some bitterness, kind of a lager feel.

(draught at brewery) pours clear brown with ruby highlights and very little head. Nose is subtle but hints of nuts, roasted malts and coffee. Taste of hairspray, nuts, sweet malt, Roasted malt over-dried fruit and finishes warming and bitter. One of rahrs better beers honestly.

Dark brown with a thin lasting tan head. Sweet malt aroma. Medium body with lots of malt with a little hop bitterness. I prefer drinking this beer just below room temperature i.e. 60-65 degrees. Filling finish.

Tap at the source. Pours black. Small head. Aroma is caramel, fig, dark fruits. Flavor is fair fruit, fig, raisins, totally an English ale. Yea, I mean its an English style winter warmer. You should know the flavor of this before trying it. Oh, its fine
