COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full bodied golden Pale Ale which pours with a linen white medium density head leaving spider web lace on the glass. On the palate the flavour is sweet fruity malts up front (apricot, mango) with a bit of candy, and slight grassy notes which fall away to reveal a hint of biscuit with rather pleasant grapefruit and perfume undertones. This is a hop bomb, there is no doubt. To the nose there is a mild malt aroma which accentuates the robust floral bouquet which is derived from the hops.

Medium full bodied ale with pleasant lingering hop finish.

6.8 % alcohol by volume, IBU’s 46.6

Food Pairings: Burgers, Chilli, Chorizo, Crispy/Spicy Duck, Spicy Indian dishes

DeanF (2527) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 1, 2012
Gold-copper body with okay head that’s gone just too fast. Sampled at 13.4 celcius. Soft aroma of malts with some hoppy finishes on the back end. Flavour is a lot of maltiness with a dry hoppy finish. Okay mouthfeel, a little fake lager-ish though. Nice and well balanced.

Draft at kingston brewing. Warm gold. Aroma is sloppy. Fruit salad, muddled. Skanky. Thin. Toasty finish. But highly disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

473Ml can from the LCBO. Pours a clear amber orange colour with a foamy off white head and nice lace. Nice hoppy bitter and malty sweet aroma and flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPad

From can, opaque amber with an orange hue. Floral aroma, fresh duey grass. Predominant hop flavor, chewy bitterness, maybe some light nuttiness.not excessively carbonated was appreciated. Went down well.

473 ml can purchased at the LCBO in Rideau and King Edward (Ottawa) on May 13, 2012. Golden blonde little head. Hoppy aroma of peaches, hints of black tea. Taste of hopped peaches, grapefruit and herbs, bitter herbs. Not exceptional, but it’s a good tribute to Jumbo!

473ml can. Pours almost clear orange amber with a foamy white head with okay retention and strong lacing. aroma of hops, citrus, fruit, malt, some grapefruit. and a breaddy yeast. Much better than the bottled version i had years ago which i’m pretty sure was infected...

Hazy orange with a foamy finger of head. Smells of candi sugar, pine and resin. Bitter and pine on the palate. A little drying on the finish.

Can from LCBO. Pours a hazy amber colour with thick off-white head. Some citrus in the aroma. Not bad.

Can. Pours pale copper. Aroma is biscuits, caramel. Mainly dark malts. First touch is quite interesting (fruity -- mainly apricot) and perfectly balanced, but slides into veggies territory. Couldn’t stand it. Started well but quickly drainpoured.
