Can from the LCBO. Cloudy medium amber under a one finger white head that fades gradually. Nose is light bread and cereal with a good dose of pine and grass and a hint of spice. Flavour follows the nose with a light+ malt sweetness with a big grass and resin bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and chewy with soft carbonation and a long bitter finish.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2017 Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a fairly big frothy off-white head and has a slightly hazy golden appearance. Some sticky lacing remains. Aromas of big earthy and herbal hops, a little bit floral as well as some bready malt hints. Flavours are mostly from the hops, lots of resin, citrus, and herbal notes all around, Some bitterness on the palate. A little bit of a grassy, vegetable like finish with some yeasty notes finishing it off. Medium body, thin feel, creamy, astringent finish. Pretty easy going for the high abv%, quite enjoyable! I didn't like the origal but i loved this one. Pours dark amber with average white head. In aroma, a sweet caramel malt with light British hops, butterscotch. In mouth, a buttery caramel malt with grassy British hops with butterscotch. Karol (973) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle bought at the LCBO in Kitchener Canada. This beer has 90 IBU and 7.5% abv. Golden copper color. Good head. Aroma of malt, bitter hops. Taste mirrors the aroma plus dark bitter fruits. Dry bitter hops finish. I this another double dead elephant than the one listed? This one has more abv and more ibu.

Pours dark amber with a foamy tanned head. Aroma is hops and fruit juice. Good sweet carmel and citrus grapefruit flavour. Full body, medium carbination and a good bitter throughout. Not sure which I like better this or the original Dead Elephant, both are great beers. Tranquillity (2564) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2016

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and bitter hops with some caramel malt notes is OK. Taste is a mix of citrusy and resinous hops with bitter hops and some caramel malt. Body is full with good carbonation. Old school IIPA with too much caramel malt and bitterness. Finish is loads of grapefruit, lime, lemon, strong bitterness. Some hints of resin. Full body, average carbonation. Strong, but good ; a hearty IPA.
