Bottle at Ontario Brewing Awards. Deep amber pour. Off-white head. The aroma is sweet and a little bit chewy. A touch of caramel and some sweet fruity character. Lightly earthy with a touch of fruit. Lingering estery character. Pretty nice really.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2016 Can. Copper-brown with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour of a sweet-leaning brown ale - roasted malt, toasted nuts, caramel, raisin, light grassy hops - with pleasant a hint of honey. A touch too sweet for my personal taste, but still a nice ale.

Pours a reddish coppery colour, with a very thin off-white head. Aromas start off like musky honey, but then there is a grass meets funk thing going on that my nose finds offensive. Kind of like burnt vegetation, but its hard to describe. Tastes are an improvement, with light honey, orange candies and sweet caramel. I had this one in 2013 but couldnt remember it. I can now say Id never buy this again

The aroma is bitter and boring but the colour and taste are quite nice. It has a smooth smokey taste with a caramel finish

500 mL bottle. Pours medium brown with a touch of off white head. Toasty malts, mild caramel, some earthy hop, a little pear/apple esters. Light to moderate body with average carbonation. Off dry and balanced. Innocuous.

Can - Caramel and biscuity malts. Cloudy copper with a thin off white head. Biscuit malts and caramel. Light bitterness and quite like an English bitter.

Wow, what a surprise this was. Assumed this was going to be light fruity beer but it pours a dark amber. Clearly Im an idiot. Pretty decent though. Probably wouldve been rated higher if I actual wanted a darker beer.

I had this bottle from the LCBO from a couple months back. It pours a dark amber with a frothy beige cap which lasts a while. Quite sweet with marked bitterness to balance, has a burnt sugar, honeyed, and grainy and grassy nose. Creamy finish, nice texture, mild bitter finish with a slight sweetness. Good but overpriced in bottle.

Pours a dark amber, with a foamy tan head. Aroma notes include honey, caramel, and cracker malt notes. Tasting notes include honey, and toffee. Sweet, but not cloiying. The palate is a little thin, and has a smoked honey finish. Not bad, very drinkable.
