when I poured it it smellt like tacos and lemonzest no lie.(a distance away I could smell that)right from glass just smelt soft, light and a soft fruityness. Taste is all soft and light of lemon zest, peach and pear. I also could taste the hops and they smelt that warm smell some hops have. Itès a little more then just average. some sips remind me of an IPA and some seem just like a blonde ale with veary little light fruitness. worth trying cxheers I had the can btw Maklean (50) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 7, 2013
Pours a clear yellow brew with a small head and ok lacing. Aromas of passionfruit and florals with a light malt background. Sweet up front malts balanced with a decently bitter finish. Well rounded blond ale for the style. Strangebrewer (1316) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 5, 2009
UPDATED: APR 3, 2014 bottle & tap. Poured clear amber with a lasting thin white head. Delicious bready malt aroma with some citrus. Medium-light body, crisp mouthfeel with a tart dry finish. Flavour is sweet and malty, grainy with herbal hop note. JesseM (1158) - Margaritaville, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 11, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2009 Homebrewesque bottle given to me by MrManning (thanks Len!). Pours a deep GOLD, not sure where these confused ratings of an amber coloured beer are coming from, with a small white head head. Aroma: Really odd, but good, VERY Belgian like, quite fruity, pears, apples, a hint of apricot, and yeasty. Nice! Flavour: More of the same from the aroma, with a slight sour touch, and maybe even some clove. Very good! Nice a refreshing as well on such a hot sunny day. Man this stuff is enjoyable. An odd little beer though, this honestly could pass as a Belgian Ale of some sort. Thanks again Len! thb (830) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 13, 2012
I’m evidently against the grain a bit, but I thought this was a really impressive go at what can be a limiting style. Pours light amber, not much head. Aromas - very floral and fruity, slight citrus. Taste is subtle sweetness and gentle bitterness in nice tension. Drinkable, clean.

I was in university when this (their flagship) came onto the market. I was so proud. Little St. Thomas taking on the world of big beer. It is okay. If it were cheaper and stronger I would like it better. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 25, 2008
This is the first offering from this brand new southern Ontario brewery. From the growler, this ale pours a deep gold with a frothy white cap. The nose is quite hop forward and is complimented with floral notes, along with fruity malts (mango, peach), and leads into bread crust and caramel. The flavour profile is upfront with floral hops alongside caramel malts, and is complimented by fruity lemony sweetness. This is the perfect summer golden ale. I am glad it is only a 15 minute drive from my place to the brewery, as I will be visiting often. The finish in this is bitter and quenching. Great session beer. An excellent start! Right on AL and team! GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2008
Growler shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, jerc & tupalev - courtesy of MrManning. Burnished golden-amber with a small white head - darker than I expected from a Blond, which makes me wonder what their upcoming Amber will look like. Aroma and flavour are both very well-balanced - malt forward with sweet bready notes and a hint of honey, and a moderate hoppiness to balance. A very nice session ale that would be a go-to easy drinkin’ beer for me if I lived down in the area. Well done, guys - looking forward to your future offerings. tompete (335) - Tillsonburg, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 1, 2013
Poured into a glass from 473ml can. Pours a nice gold with a tan head. Aroma is smokey, hard to get anything else. Could be the brewer isn’t cleaning the electric elements in the boiler well enough, but I like it. A bit odd for a blonde. Flavour is malty and smokey with a hint of citrus. Finish is smooth and slightly sweet. Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2008
Growler shared with Hogtown Harry, Jerc, GregClow, and Blankboy, courtesy of Mr Manning (thanks Len!). Amber, small white head (blonde?). Aroma - lots of bready sweetness, just a hint of hops in background. Taste is malt forward, sweet without cloying, very fresh. Nothing terribly overwhelming, just a solid session style ale. If I was local, I’d reach for it. Nice first effort, looking forward to your future offerings.
