500 mL bottle. Pours copper with a white cap. Caramel toffee, biscuit and marzipan notes with a touch of herbal hop and black tea. Light bodied with a clean finish. Moderately sweet with full carbonation. Quaffable. neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 23, 2013
500 mL can from the brewery, served in a branded glass. Pours clear copper with a small tan head that fades to a thin remnant. The nose has toasty caramel and brown sugar with herbs and flowers. The flavour is medium sweet with herbal hops. There are nutty malts, herbs, subtle yeast and earth. The finish is medium subtle malts and yeast with soft hops. On the palate, it is medium in body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a passable amber ale with grainy notes and subtle yeast. 2012-09-02 probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 27, 2012
Pint at Loon. Clear deep amber with a small off-white head. Sour, metallic, awful. Fail. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 18, 2012
A hazed amber ale with a thick mocha head. In aroma, a rather grassy malt with light iron notes. In mouth, a rather watery nutty malt with herbal notes, faint hops, astringent notes, so-so. On tap at Arrow and Loon, July 18, 2012. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2012
Copper (duh) colour pour with a fairly sticky white head. The aroma is fairly sweet with notes of toasted malt, caramel and a little bit of brown sugar. A touch of light biscuit character and some light fruitiness. Fairly clean although there is a touch of estery flavour. There is an odd sort of salty component that fades a little bit as the beer warms up. A touch of minerally hoppiness and a little bit of light spice as well. It’s pretty nice, if quite simple.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2012 March 9 2012, pint bottle. Aroma is of hops, hint of butterscotch very sweet malt. Medium, frothy white head. Beautiful copper orange colour and carbonation through to the end. Sticky lacing clings to glass, not very smooth or attractive. Watery palate, easy to drink. Sweet taste of butterscotch, hint of malt apple and spice with slight bready aftertaste. Refreshing, light and easily the most drinkable offering from Railway City I have tasted. Digital_Aura (228) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 9, 2012
Pint bottle from brewery. Pours with an average creamy white head. Dissipates very quickly, unfortunately, leaving only a messy lace that sticks to the glass. Clear, slightly sparkling honey orange colour (Lovibond 8/9). Good carbonation. Faint aroma of light hops. To me, other scents are undetectable but not a bad thing. Flavour is of mild hops but crisply balanced so as not to produce an aftertaste. Really clean on the palate. My guess is this would be a good thirst-quenching reward on a parching hot day. Final thoughts: fairly good unless youre looking for interesting or flavourful fare. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2011

Draught sample in St. Thomas. Pours a copper colour, with small white head. Aroma was a little of hops. Tasted a little hopy and of fruit.
