A decidedly rusty copper, pours a thick and frothy cream coloured head. In the nose, caramel malts meet toasty spices. Notes of chestnut here with a nice fruity component leaning towards plum. Tastes of sweet caramel, some butterscotch. A good level of biscuit graininess follows with fruit, some vanilla/rye/spices. Nice hop bite comes mid-palate and lasts. Medium/Full body, creamy with marked lasting fruity and a lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Canned. Very lively, huge beige head. The body is hazy orange. The aroma has raisins, licorice, roasted malts. The taste is spicy, with some more licorice. Very nice overall.

Not sure about all the nay saying on this one , yes a touch sweet. But a good quality simple ale for sure. Not always seeking the hop bomb bitter sour thing. Simple beer made well, I like it.

500 ml bottle @ Stout TO. Pours a clear light Amber with a huge off-white head. Aromas are sharp and acidic at first. Mellowed out to honey and biscuity malts. Slight acidic bite, nutty malts, biscuit, and a light bitterness. Thin body, medium carbonation, medium bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Not much going on here...... Other than another butter bomb. Diacetyl everywhere..... Light hops with butter, caramel malts with butter! The finish is very buttery! What a surprise!

500 mL can from the brewery, served in a branded glass. Pours clear copper with a small tan head that fades to a thin remnant. The nose has toasty caramel and brown sugar with herbs and flowers. The flavour is medium sweet with herbal hops. There are nutty malts, herbs, subtle yeast and earth. The finish is medium subtle malts and yeast with soft hops. On the palate, it is medium in body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a passable amber ale with grainy notes and subtle yeast. 2012-09-02
