From a can of House of Clay at the Burning Can Festival (NC).
Amber body. I was told this was a pale ale but it seemed too robust for style to the point of being readily mistaken for an IPA ... so the bold hoppy aroma and flavor is actually on style.
Dank, hoppy aroma - seems a bit off but may be the rye, which I was unaware of at the time.
Moderately bitter, very hoppy flavor. jsquire (4563) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Hazy golden color with a big foamy white head. Hoppy nose with a bit of spice. Strong caramel malt backbone with bitter grapefruit rind, a long hop resin bitterness, and a nice rye spice finish. I do like rye in beer. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 9, 2017
Pours a cloudy yellow gold body with a small frothy white head. The nose is full of juicy and tropical hops with a nice yeastiness and a slight rye spiciness. The flavor is pretty great, juicy hops with a heavy yeastiness, a "New England" style rye IPA? Nice juicy tropical hops with light bitterness and a great dry pale malt base. Medium bodied with a nice yeasty smooth texture and soft fizzy carbonation. Really great beer, best beer that I tried on my visit. hman43 (1747) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - DEC 9, 2016
Golden with a white head. Citrus aromas with a nice blend of rye, citrus and pine jbruner (5121) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JAN 3, 2016
Pours a hazy golden orange from the can with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma and taste of big rye spicy malt notes over piney and earth hops. Moderate bitterness, good carbonation, easy drinker, not bad.

Bottle. Cloudy straw color, massive white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of lightly spiced brown bread. Taste is very bitter and has plenty of spice. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a thin white head. Soft hops on the nose, a hint of citrus. Medium bodied, spicy malt and a hint of rye, dusty and earthy. Long slow spicy rye and earthy bitterness on the finish. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2015
had at a share .. . got dirty rye and cereal, light dried grass .. medium feel and a rushed finish .. not quite gellin .. . . You don’t know anything about society, Marie; you don’t have the satisfaction of avoiding it. Mep3222 (1609) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - JUL 2, 2015
Spicy piney hop aroma. Taste is malty with the rye spice, almost peppery, with a dry bitter finish. Well made and a fairly nice beer just not a huge rye IPA fan.
