2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale golden pour. Straw. Notes of hay and light malt sweetness. A touch herbal. Hops are perceptible, which is definitely a plus, but it still comes across as averagy.
Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt, corn and light hop. Sweet malt flavor giving way to crisp lager yeast before a crisp hop finish. Subliminal64 (170) - London, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 13, 2015
Nothing special here. Definatley a quality beer. You can see the hops growing in front of the brewery.
Smells of hops.
Pours a gold colour. No head.
Taste is more of a Czech pilsner then a North American.
Decent amount of carbonation. Could use some more.
Overall I was not disappointed, but will not purchase again.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs; thanks Ferris). Looks solid; a transparent gold with thin eggshell head that dissipates into lacing pretty quickly. Smells and tastes of mild hops and lager yeast with a touch of bittersweetness in the background. Average on the palate; more bitter than snappy. Not bad. Draft - Light sweet malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Nice crisp hoppy bitterness. Clean finish. Nice and flavorful.

Clear golden in colour with a white head, some light lacing. The aroma is of grains, minerals, very light grass. The flavour is on the sweet side, grainy with some pale malts. Water in the mouth, light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes quick and thin. I can see how this would appeal to people but its just not for me.

On tap @ the Bent Elbow - taps a pale gold, with a great frothy white cap that lasts and laces well. Aroma is fairly uncomplicated but pleasing - fresh bready malts light floral hopping. Med-light bodied with a malt-forward character, Flavour is uncomplicated but solid craft beer lager- fresh bready pale malts ride just above the succulent bittering hops - clean crisp finish accented by alt-hop balance. A solid sessioning craft lager in traditional Canadian style has some Pilsner character but is more sturdy than a continental Pils. Tessic (1146) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2012
This pils poured a crystal clear, light yellow colour with a quick living, bright white head. To the nose there are scents of corn, very light vinegar, club soda and some light hops. First sip was very thin, almost to the point of watery. Corn and hop flavour most prodominant with a slightly sweet finish. Honestly? a glorified Bud.
