draught at Zly Casy beer festival, May 2009. Deep amber colour, slightly hazy, large and creamy off-white head. Aroma of chestnut honey (which comes as no surprise - this is a chestnuthoney beer). I used to have lots of chestnut honey during holidays in Greece and I adore this flavour and aroma. The beer feels like digging into a honey pot although much more liquid and not sticky at all. Full-bodied, malty background with dominating chestnut and honey flavours. These flavours are not too sweet, though, everything seems to be perfectly in balance. This superb beer is rounded off with some bitter and herbal hop flavours into a lingering, never-ending finish of honey flavours. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. petexner (936) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 28, 2012

@ Zly Casy. Hazy light tan. Big perfumey earl grey aroma. The beer is made with chestnut honey but I would swear it’s more jasmine floral. Sweet, lightly nutty, jasminey. Interesting character with sweet maltiness. MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 19, 2009
(swing top bottle) Cloudy, bright amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and distinctively honey-fruity aroma with a floral blossom-like touch and notes of herbal hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Yeasty, pale and cara-malty taste with distinctive notes of honey and a tinge of fruitiness; medium-dry malt-accented and honey-fruity finish with a delicate but nevertheless aromatic herbal hoppy touch. Well-made brew. 21.X.09

On tap at Prague Beer Museum. Colour; cloudy golden yellow with foamy white head. Nose; grass, hay, lemon and honey. Taste; dominant lemon-honey taste, grass, herbal, hoppy finish, light bodied. The beer is uncomplicated, but has a good balance of sweetness and tartness, making it enjoyable to drink. Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 2, 2011
Another beer I had on tap at Zlý Časy in Prague. The beer had a cloudy amber-orange color with a big foamy-creamy dark off-white head with average cling and lots of retention. Its aroma featured a variety of spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and brown sugar, as well as a light earthy hops tone below. Its mouthfeel was surprisingly light and thin, with a dry body and feel, and low carbonation. It tasted somewhat sweet and fruity, but had a bitter grainy component as well.
