Not quite clear rich yellow, persistent spongy head. Dry hoppy aroma, touch of ginger. Light carbonation, and a lovely tingle on the tongue from both carbonation and gingery hoppiness. Very full taste - fruity, spicy, bags of grains. Finish has all of the taste, plus just a little mushroom. All-round classic bitter - good show!
Cask conditioned at The Rose & Crown, Charlbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. There is a sharpish, quite a mineral character to this from the off. Hints of saltines then a drying bitterness. It’s fine. ManVsBeer (11712) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2017
Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Golden-blonde with a head. It’s a balanced hop-malt ale with citrus notes.

Cask at the White Swan, Solihull. Poured a very slightly hazy light straw colour with a huge frothy white head. The aroma is weak hoppy with a bit of barnyard in there too. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with some nice grassy nettle hoppiness and some barnyard malt. Served on the cool side this is a super refreshing summer ale. The cask had only just been put on so I drank it nice and fresh which makes a difference. This beer deserves a better rating. The_Osprey (9999) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2017
Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall. As Ramsbury Chalk Stream. Short review in company. Pale golden, still and pretty clear with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma is biscuity, green tea, Jasmine. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is sugary, light straw, astringent floral notes. Plain and simple. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2013
