COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

I have tried this brewery for a second time at the pibar in Lausanne. Thanks Agocs to share this beer with me, during some hard problems with my Spanish family. In my point of view, it is a decent porter, classical for the style and watery but you can smell and you have this sensation of a well balanced beer, fine taste with roaated malt, coffee, hop, dry and mineral water, a bit soily. In my opinion, this porter is light, comparing to some others craft beers but it is perfect for the summer.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2017 Bottle. Single hop USA Galena. Color: Very dark brown, almost black. Frothy beige head. Taste: Very hoppy, dark espresso, chocolate, fruity orange hints. Soft carbonation, medium body. Good beer, but taste is just a bit too flat in my opinion.

Draft sample at Hop Festival Eindhoven, The Netherlands. 17.09.2016. Pour it dark color with medium white head. Aroma of roasted malt and some toast. Taste pretty much thin, roasted malt on the back and finishes with some bitter notes, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, abrupt.

Aroma: chocolately and extremely malty; maybe too much; Appearance: pitch black with fluffy off white head that dissipates slowly; Taste: follows nose, unfortunately; maltiness/wine-iness makes your tongue curl; curious bitterness follows; Palate: heavy body with long, malty finish; Overall: yuck. Would not buy again, ever.

Bottle. Thanks Douberd! Opaque black liquid with medium to big tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, raw sugar, bitter chocolate, coffee, licorice, pumpernickel and light vanilla sugar. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of raw sugar, dried fruit, bitter chocolate and light ash. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty tame.

borisz (418) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 19, 2016
Pours clearish, red-brown with a big, beige head. Dark malt nose, cocoa, hints of earthy and citrusy hops. Light sweet flavor, dark malts, a little dusty, bits of roasted cocoa and coffee beans, dry earthy bitterness. Medium in body with lively carbonation. More medium roast malts in the finish, some moss and leaves. Could be sweeter. Nice beer overall.
