Growler. Light yellow color. Aroma is very green, fresh cut grass, or is that my surroundings here at beautiful bctc, notes: taste is similar, like grass and pine. Bitter hops linger for a bit. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 10, 2008
growler-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet light malt-mango, secondary perfumy hops. Taste is sweet light malt-mango, perfumy/spicy/grassy (saaz) hops. Lots of hops. Thanks to jwc215 for picking this out. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 9, 2008
(BCTC, growler, thanks microgrog) My notes say Ramstein Unfiltered Pils a.k.a. Fettesau, so hopefully this is the right beer. White head atop hazy straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, grassy/straw, some bread. Taste is medium sweet, grassy/floral, light bread. Nice bitter aftertaste. Soft, light-medium body. HoppityHop (206) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 9, 2008
Nice yellow coloring, with spot on carbonation and bitterness. Not much aroma and slightly thinner tasting than the usual Ramstein offering, it’s still a tasty beer. Glad to see High Point making a Pils again. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - JUL 19, 2008
on tap at the brewery. Hazy golden in color with a medium well retaining head- great appearance. Aroma is full of earthy and lightly floral noble hops and fresh pils malt- some light yeast. Taste: a good amount of hallertau hops and fresh pils malt, some light yeasty bread. Light bodied, with a moderate bitter finish. Another great german lager from High Point.
