COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of soap, hops, fruit, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and hops - like chewing on hop cones, leading to a very bitter finish. The mouthfeel is smooth.

Bottled at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Lightly hazy brownish amber, minimal head. Lots of sweaty hops. Chewy caramelly malt covered by vast amounts of sweaty hops. Hugely full bodied. Warming with with massive bitterness.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Fat aroma hops in the nose - and a whiff of dirty socks. Quite full-bodied, solid malt base, some caramel and fat and juicy hops leaving a massive bitterness. 060510

Rasmus40 (20643) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2011
Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty and very hoppy - grapefruit and citrus. Flavor is rather sweet and very bitter. Dry and bitter finish. 280810. I also had this on 160211, where it had lost a lot of the hoppy aroma. My rating is based on my first try.
