@CBF. Pours beautiful deep amber with a small beige head leaving lacing. Aroma is caramel, fidges, raisins, BW caracter, malty and sweet. Excellent. Flavor is like the aroma with good peppery and pungeant bite. Finishes sweet frutiy and bitter tart. One of the best beers I tasted at the CBF. jesperhammer (5017) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2010
12-NOV-2010, bottle @home, from "Vinens Verden".
Lovely amber with giant lasting beige head. The glass is really coated on the inside. The day after the glass still looks like a mess.
Fanstasic piney citric nose.
Lots of malts and lots of bitterness. This is really my type of brew. Taste goes on and on... charlotte (5460) - rødovre, DENMARK - MAY 15, 2010

Pours clear dark amber with a big, creamy, yellowish head. Fine duration. Aroma is lovely hoppy, piney, resiny, light fruity. Soft caramel background. Low carbonation, good creamy and light oily mouthfeel. Flavour is just lovely and VERY bitter. Resiny, lots of piney hops bite, light apricot and citric notes. Long, lingering, heavy bitter finish. Nice if you really like bitter. And I do.
Bottled @ CBF 2010. The aroma has very fruity hops and some pine. Clear, copper coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is bitter, with fruity (aprikot, citrus) hops and a caramel backbone. Real good fruitiness. Good and crisp. MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2010

Bottle from Vinoble-favrskov, brewn 17-10-2009.
clear dark amber with a coppery, red and brown hue, depending on light. very large very smooth very good looking beige head.
nice complex hoppy and bitter hoppy aroma. i get faint floral hops, bitter hops. Seems to have been hopped so much the aroma goes bitter, aroma reminds me of extremely hopped beers.nice sweet malty base to the hops. aroma is somewhere between a barley wine and a double IPA.
flavor is sweet malty, faint caramelly, loads of bitter hops to balance, the hop flavor is intense enough that it just turns bitter and dry, but it works well, with a good balance to the quite malty and caramelly sweet base. As the beer is bone dry and very bitter hopped, it comes off as quite refreshing even though it also is quite sweet malty. Not many Danish brweries have dared release such an extreme beer.
