From tap as Randers Sort. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with a light annis seed note. Light acidic roasted malt, annis seed and mild spiced. Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty bready caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel flavor with some bready hints and some weak hoppy hints. Has a roasted malty bready caramel finish.

BeerFest2010. Dark brown colour with some ambery notes. Arma is caramel malts, mild roasted notes, some ashes as well as some mild earthy and grassy hoppy notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some ashes, mild liquorice as well as some toffee.
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2008 Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Almost black. vague tar aroma. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel. Roasty amd grainy with a bit of tobacco. Fairly low hop rate. Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice and notes of chocolate. This more like a light porter. Surprised they call this a schwarz.
