A good solid stout. Good head and body. Served a tad cold but better than most place. chocolate and roast malty consistant with a stout. Balance hoppiness.
This pours a dark brown color with a creamy light brown head. The scent is mostly that of sweet malts. The taste is sweet with malts and robust from a good roasted flavor. The texture is fairly creamy with a little bit on an alcohol taste. Not to bad, but pretty average as oatmeal stouts go. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Tap at the brewpub. Stained glass red-black body. Thinnish soapy off-white head. Not really carbonated at all, but the taste/flavor is right on. Milk chocolate, a faint touch of coffee. The still, watery carbonation is distracting. Decent. MrPickles (438) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 26, 2012
On nitro at the brewpub. Looks and smells like it should. Between the nitro and the oatmeal it is incredibly smooth. Definitely the best of the bunch! crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 11, 2012
Fresh 1 hr old growler.
It pours with nearly no head but eventually a small 1 cm head forms. The color is a dark brown.
Smell is light with hints of cocoa and sugar.
Mouthfeel is smooth with a mid carbonation, very creamy. The flavor is decent but nothing amazing.
Standard brewpub fare, this brewery needs to step up.

On tap at brewpub, pours a dark brownish black with no head, aroma is roasty with some notes of chocolate and finish, the flavor is pretty off putting on the front end, very low carbonation, there is some chocolate in the finish with a touch of coffee, but there is a sour finish, wierd for a stout.

Saving this best for last, this is a very well made Oatmeal Stout. All the flavors reach you at just the right time, and they are all very polite. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 15, 2008
On tap at the Randy’s Fun Hunters Brew Pub. Dark brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of light roasted malts and coffee. Thin and creamy body has light taste of roasted malts with some coffee and light chocolate to go with it. Something about this one is amiss, it’s just bland and not very good. On draught at the brewpub in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Pours an almost opaque dark brown brew with a creamy tan head that has good retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of mostly coffee, some dark roasted malt and a touch of vanilla. Taste is full bodied, very light carbonation, smooth and creamy with a dark roast and coffee flavor. Finish is semi-sweet, soft textured with a chocolate and oatmeal aftertaste. One of Fun Hunter’s best brews during this trip. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - AUG 15, 2007
GTMW 2007. Advertised as 6.5-7% ABV. Poured a deep dark brown color with orange highlights. Head was tan with decent retention and lacing. Aroma was of roasted nuts and burnt brown sugar. Slightly sweet with roasty malt and chocolate flavors.
