It has a dark redish brown with minimal head appearance. Taste is slightly sweet maple plum taste. Not extremely hoppy with minimal alcohol aftertaste. It is a medium body beer. Good beer but at a cost 11 bucks for 6 12 oz bottles. deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 29, 2011
On tap at the Houston Flying Saucer. Pours a hazy deep amber red with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. aroma has notes of toffee, cherry, dark grainsand a bit Of bourbon. Flavor begins with toffee and light fruit withgrowing notes of bourbon and cherry. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - OCT 28, 2011
Plum color. Thin runny head but medium body. Wood aroma with some earthy sweetness. Mild and sweet malt flavor that’s well complimented by the cherry. They’re not too strong. The beer has a good bite and an apple peel finish, the only thing I don’t care for. There is a mineral water aftertaste that’s very clean.
