4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy orange with an thick off-white head and lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, dank, and a ton of grapefruit. Taste is quite bitter and fruity. There is very little discernible malt flavor or sweetness, but it somehow doesn’t taste way off balance. Medium bodied, dry, with a long bitter finish. Nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the saucer. Pours amber with a nice, off-white head. Nose is of citrus and pine. Taste is spicy and earthy; malt sweetness is lacking. Mouthfeel is bitter and off-balance. Decvent, but not great.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light citrus aroma. Flat head and little lace. Flavor is very smooth and bitter and has a lot of taste. There is a barely sweet malt foundation to this beer. The finish is long and bitter and has a effervescence that lingers. Quite nice. This beer does tickle a little. Kill it after a half pint.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
On tap at Whole Foods Waugh Dr. Houston, TX.
This is very dry Ale. From what I understand this is 8% ABV and the winner of the Sippy Cup Homebrew contest for 2011. Aroma is hay with a little grassy/citrus. Appearance is a cloudy amber to orange. Very heady.
Little to no sweetness, heavy hoppy bitterness 100 IBU at least. Very crisp dry taste. Body is medium with average carbonation and a long bitter finish.
I think this is going to be a hop head favorite. You don’t have the sweet maltiness to balance the strong hoppiness like a lot of Double or Imperial IPAs but being a homebrew recipe where those folks love an assault on the palette it will have high regard.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Flying Saucer in down town Clutch City... Amber pour with an off white head. Piney/resiny hop aromas. Tangy piney hops dominate the palate. In my opinion the he malt backbone is really under developed.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ Freetail, at the end of dinner (a messy over aspargussed pizza, tasty!) .. Pours a murky honey tan .. very low foam .. . a bit thin but has the nicest little hop presence .. . hop syup, sugar, sap, and sea water .. . pretty nice but needs to be fuller .. . .
You’ve got a moustache.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
(fraught at Whip In) clear ruddy dark yellow with a lasting creamy white head. Nose is sweet and malty, sugar cane, orange juice. Taste is very piney and resinous, very little malt backbone to match, oranges and grapefruit with no sugar. Medium thick body with a long-lasting bitter end.
