Bottle. Poured a cloudy golden color with a thick white head.. Aroma of lemon and bread. Has a citrus taste with a lingering finish. A pretty tasty beer.
Hazy golden orange in color... Aroma of candi sugar, citrus, grains... Flavor is bready light golden malts, light citrus, slight yeasty notes on palate... Decent

From an old trade with Errl. Batch #1 from 7-20-12. Gusher and lots of yeast at the bottom, cloudy light orange. Awesome unique nose of stone fruit. Taste is very lightly smokiness and more light stone fruits on a decent base beer. Lingering finish of apricot. Super interesting smoked beer-very even handed, maybe from the age? Extremely surprising beer. Smells intensely fruity and has big smoked wood notes. Taste is similar with a prominent apple taste followed by other fruit notes.

12.7oz bottle: Thanks Kaggie! This one pours a slightly hazy, straw yellow color. There was a HUGE frothy, fizzy white head on it that took awhile to go down. It has a nice nose to it. Pretty standard fare for a saison: grassy, a bit earthy, spices, some faint fruits, woody, lots going on there. The taste is also good. Some spiciness, faint fruits, wheat, yeastiness. A very nice beer.

In the Ranger Creek Family this is truly one of their most forgettable brews. It has a tartness flavor to it. Zero head if that. Has a rosemary, ginger sensibility to it. 12.7 ounce bottle thanks to Errl. Pours a hazy copper with a white head of thick foam. Good retention. Aroma is a sort of earthy dryness. Taste is mildly bitter throughout with a bit of funk coming through. Not sour necessarily, but just a little funky. Fruity and floral notes. Bottle:   Straw colored, very dirty towards the end of the bottle, huge frothy off-white head, little lacing.   Sweet floral and barnish nose.   Smells good.   Oh boy, band-aid to start.   Smoked spelt perhaps?
Not heavy enough in the Rauchbier sense, but enough for me to get band-aid out of it.   Otherwise fruity, floral, and very very spritzy.   I tried to pour some off in a small bottle to cap it, but the damn thing just foamed
and foamed and foamed when I poured it.   Smells great, starts out on the wrong side of the tracks, but then comes back with a nice yeasty, barnish, floral, and fruity notes.   Some pale fruit skin as well.   Wonder if I
waited too long on this.   Really interesting non-the-less, and enjoyable to try.   Just wished it werent so airy and foamy.   Thanks Bill!
