Bottled 10-8-12. Insanely cloudy appearance. Huge fluffy whie head that fades slowly. Nose is sort of acetic. Smells like a yeasty belgian saison. Nice peach / apricot nose and grape skins. I opened this and it smells like a wild beer. Darnit, it’s infected! Nice english yeastiness and bitterness. Malt profile is solid but it has the lacto and that just makes it weird. Grape skin and peach is nice but not in a barleywine. Cornboy (424) - Eastampton, New Jersey, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Pure infection. Gusher, cheesy, funky and in a bad way. What a disappointment pushkinwow (2851) - Ottawa, CANADA - JAN 16, 2013
500ml bottle from a locals trade. Slightly murky amber with a billowing off white head. Slightly fermented peach juice, grass, some candied Belgian sugars and yeast, oak notes, banana, slight wheat. High carbonation, moderate body, lots of fruit with some alcohol, vanilla, somewhat sweet and more alcohol on the finish with a bit of a bite. Wish I had another bottle or two of this to see how it aged but at 3 months its an interesting beer. Cliff (355) - The Land of Milk and Honey, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Infected big time. A huge gusher and complete drain pour. Seemed like it could be a nice beer, but not when its infected. AcctError160898 (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Aroma is malts, fruit, with hints of spice. Pours a hazy tea color with a rapidly dissipateing white head. The taste is malt, spice, oak, with notes of honey and citrus. There is also some hints of alcohol in the finish. Medium-light body soft carbonation. Overall, while not a big barley wine fan, I found this one to be very enjoyable.

Pours, smells and tastes like another infected Ranger Creek beer. What’s up with these guys? I’ve had the Mesquite smoked porter and the Small Batch 2, and those came off infected as well (giant foamy head, sour notes in aroma and flavor). This beer seemed like it COULD be really good, but that only makes the disappointment that much stronger. deyholla (11909) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Bottle thanks to my secret Santa! Pours a hazy amber brown with a large tan head that dissipates to the slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of light fruit and a hint of grassiness with a strong sweet grain and oak backbone. Flavor is similar with a grass note up front that finishes with sweet grains, oak and light fruits. mar (5434) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 3, 2013
hazy amber with a cream head. nose is wood, lightly tart, rich malts, dried fruits, and sticky. smooth on the palate, sticky malts, chewy, sweet, wood, and a nice finish. dfinney23 (3394) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Pours burnt orange with a sizable white head. Lots going on here -- yeast, oak, brown sugar, dark fruit, spices. Definitely one to revisit again later. Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle courtesy pikapp 327. Pours a fairly clear reddish orange with a hazy color. White head. Aroma is dry wood, wet nose with slight sweetness. Flavor is sweet with some sugar and brown.
