SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - FEB 7, 2016
Draft: Poured a brown with orangeish tint, the head was white. Aroma is fruity, yeast esters. Taste is sweet dark fruit, yeasty and malt.

Keg at the brewpub, RBWG ’15, 20/02/15. Rich amber with a moderately appointed light beige covering. Nose is tarte fruit, booze, vanilla, toffee, something a little astringent and not quite right. Taste comprises sweet and sour vibes, toffee, fruit esters, light yeast, hint of spice. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Very mediocre when taking the ABV into account ... delivers very little.

2/20/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Toffee on the aroma, some Belgian esters, fruity, nutty, pale malts. Dark fruits on the flavor, toffee, caramel, doughy. Not bad.

jackl (8301) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 24, 2015
Keg @ Rapp Brewing during RBWG. Cheers to the Rapp Crew! Brown pour with a small head. Accents of sharp plastic, some acetone on the nose. Unpleasant. Taste is thankfully a bit better. Stewed plums and dark red fruits. Brown sugar and toasted brown bread. Full body, oily. Let down by the strange aroma.

GenDV138 (7579) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Draft at Rapp Brewing during the RBWG 2015 bus tour. Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, dark fruit, nutty notes, acetone. Tastes of caramel, dark fruit. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 26, 2015
On tap at the brewery during RBWG. Pours a clear copper with small white head. The aroma is Belgian yeast and candy sugar. Medium mouth with brown sugar, toffee, sweetness throughout, very good.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2015
3oz on tap at the brewery during RBWG. Clear orange amber red color. Ring of white head. Some bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Light carbonation. Light slick texture. Bigger sweet taste, light bit of warmth, some spiciness. Some mild red tropical fruitiness, caramel malt. An alright Belgian strong.

chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 20, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Sweet malty aroma from a clear dark body. Too sweet up front but some bittering soon tames this. Limited complexity. Raisins and dried plums in the fruity, lightly spicy taste.

Clarkdvm (527) - Florida, USA - FEB 19, 2015
Draft at brewery. Amber pour with slight frothy head. Smells like a bourbon barrel beer. Rich sweet flavor- almost like a desert. Can feel the abv but doesn’t ruin the delicious taste
