Growler pour thanks to Andrew. Pours a hazy lemonade color with minimal head. Aromas of lemon zest, hay, spritzer, light acid. The palate is watery with summer refreshing flavors of lemon, light citric sharpness, dry wheat. Quite poundable. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 28, 2014
Growler @ Lost Abbey. Thanks to Sean. Pale straw pour with a white head. Interesting herbal, minty aroma to this. Lemon zest, popcorn, and a bit of club soda. Some nice acidity to the taste. Pleasant lemon sourness, a touch of lime zest, and grass. Same herbal character as on the nose. Mild cracker and popcorn sweetness. Refreshing, club soda like flavor. smith4498 (3670) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - MAR 29, 2014

On tap at brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow, almost no head. Aroma of wheaty, tartness, some sweetness. Taste is mild, tart, with more bready notes. Good base, not too sour. tricyclist (1125) - Florida, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Full bulb/snifter pour if hazed pink (raspberry syrup). Nose was safer raspberry and light tartness, paired with light umami and salted meat, almost hot dogs. Flavor is fantastic, with citric notes and medium raspberry. Not as tart as others I’ve had, but really enjoyable. Medium to light body with a lingering sweet tart flavor. I’d do it again gnoff (10838) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 24, 2014

Lemon water and personable lactobacillus evolve into poundable tartness in this easygoing Berliner Weisse.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A crown of foam sits atop the yellow-ish white.
-Carbonation is too low for this type of beer (in my tastes).
-Tartness is a bit too light; this was still very quenching though, obviously.
-Wheat flavours were shy.
-This remains a classy and successful example which gives people a very good idea of what this nearly forlorn style is all about.
On tap at the brewery taproom.
Super hazy golden coloured body with a thin and very light off-white head. Aroma of sour grapes and yeast, mellow malt, lemons, limes and a touch of sugars. Light-bodied; Mild maltiness up front with tons of sour lemon and pungent yeast notes, all with a very mellow sourness and a great mild sweetness that permeates., Aftertaste shows a great subdued malty flavour, a lot of yeast and wheat and even more sour and pungent yeastiness with a good mild citrus sweetness at the end. Overall,a very well made Berliner Weisse with nice flavours and a very light glow. Nice and sour with a mellow sweetness - just like the best of the options in Berlin! I sampled this pint on draught from Dunedin House of Beers a few hours ago in Dunedin, Florida on 02-January-2014 for US$5.00.
