Draft at Sourfest. Clear straw pour with a bubbly white head. Lactic nose with grainy wheat, dried lemons and tartness. Tart lemons and citrus flavor with hints of acidity and grainy wheat. Crisp and refreshing. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Another nice offering from Rapp. The body was a hazy yellow hue with light bubbles. Aromas of lemon zest, light yeast and hops tickle the senses. Flavors were all tart and citrusy with a subtle acidic bite. Goes down crisp and refreshing. kevd193213 (991) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Draught. Light yellow pour with a thin, almost nonexistent head. Aroma of lemons and yeast with a thin finish. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - APR 22, 2013
Light lemon and a bit of tartness. Good wheat. Very light. Good carbonation. Super easy drinking. Really excellent base Berliner. HighWine (959) - Whalezbro, Illinois, USA - APR 17, 2013
Tap flight at the brewery. Sampled it with and without the woodruff syrup. Without its a clear light yellow pour. Taste is wheaty and not as sour as expected. Very light, very refreshing. I love the addition of the syrup. It gives it more body and a marshmallow sweetness. Body without the syrup is light, clean, and drying. With the syrup it’s much more nutty and sweet. Either way, good beer but not as tart as most in the style.

Growler shared at RBWG! Pours a hazy golden yellow with thin white head and moderate lacing. Aroma is tart fruit, light citrus, and wheat. Taste follows, light, crisp, and refreshing on the mouth. A solid berliner that is pretty enjoyable. mlunger12 (645) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 23, 2013

Growler at RBWG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours hazy, pale yellow with a light, white cream head. Nice acidic lemon nose. Light sweet flavor with lots of zippy lemon tang, some lactic bite. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Super clean, fresh finish, quenching sour lemons, mellow acidity. Really nice. thedm (6143) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 23, 2013
This draft brew from a rating party poured a head of frothy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated hazy light yellow white colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mildly acidic tart sour sweet and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
