Our flagship brew, and a year round offering in kegs and cans, Nanticoke Nectar starts with citrus notes that progress into bold grapefruit and pine, then finishes clean with a balanced, hoppy bitterness. A subtle yet deep English malt profile elevates the hop notes while a slight sweetness underlines the brew.

Can (Nov 6, 2017 canning). Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, caramel), moderately hoppy (apricot, grapefruit, resin), with notes of onion and butter. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic, lightly astringent.

Unfortunate off notes hurt the aroma...the hops are nice enough if kind of simple. Kind of sour in the mouth, so not much fun to drink. Not terrible but needs work / more care.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange from the can with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of biscuit malt, fruity yeast esters, stone fruit and pine hop notes. Taste follows, a bit of oxidation on the end, malt is heavier than the hops. Meh.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2017 I might be crazy but brings good Pilsner to mind for my taste buds. Bitter sweet clean taste. Very enjoyable.

ganache (6071) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 9, 2017
Can from State Line. Nose spicy and a little musky, dough, earth; pour cloudy dull orange with a beige head. Taste dry with medium resin, spice, dough, slight citrus but pleasant, subtle warming over time, earth melding with the dough, light green and herbal. Clean full body, smooth but not flat, overall much heartier and more substantial than expected. [2017.08.09: 3.1]

On cask, so it had a flat feel. Nice, but the cask detracted for sure. Didn’t get much nectar feel. Good but not great.
