UPDATED: MAR 11, 2018 Aroma biscuity sweet malt and citrus (mostly grapefruit). Taste bit of plum but mainly very sweet candied citrus and malt which overpowers the hop Aggiebob (1477) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - FEB 20, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2018 Can. It poured gold with a white head and lacing. The aroma is citrus with notes of grapefruit. The bitterness is light for an IPA. Jabah (582) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - DEC 20, 2017
This leans towards an English IPA, but hoppier and better than most that I've tried. Compared to an APA or something more West-Coast, it would be more in the 2nd or 3rd tier category. Has some strength and body at 7.4%. Balance slightly on the maltier/sweet side. Isn't going to be part of my new DMV area local rotation. But at the same time, wouldn't turn one down... and one that I can see sampling again. Ernest (7936) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2017
Can (Nov 6, 2017 canning). Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, caramel), moderately hoppy (apricot, grapefruit, resin), with notes of onion and butter. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic, lightly astringent.
Unfortunate off notes hurt the aroma...the hops are nice enough if kind of simple. Kind of sour in the mouth, so not much fun to drink. Not terrible but needs work / more care. jbruner (5715) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 30, 2017
Pours a slightly hazy golden orange from the can with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of biscuit malt, fruity yeast esters, stone fruit and pine hop notes. Taste follows, a bit of oxidation on the end, malt is heavier than the hops. Meh.

Can from State Line. Nose spicy and a little musky, dough, earth; pour cloudy dull orange with a beige head. Taste dry with medium resin, spice, dough, slight citrus but pleasant, subtle warming over time, earth melding with the dough, light green and herbal. Clean full body, smooth but not flat, overall much heartier and more substantial than expected. [2017.08.09: 3.1] BeerFanDan17 (1123) - Brunswick, Maine, USA - AUG 9, 2017
A very tasty and well balanced IPA. Nice malty-mild sweetness and not too bitter. Pours a dark golden with a huge head.
