Pale golden, little hazy, white creamy head. Clean malty aroma, honey-like, low hop aroma. Sweet malty flavour, low hop taste, dry finish. ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUL 6, 2011
Bottle. Hazy straw yellow with frothy but a bit quickly dissipating head. Aroma is strongly bready and malty, with some hops and a citrus-peach fruitiness. Taste is fresh bread, citrus, some honey, hops and also some peach, with a light, a bit citrusy bitterness. Very refreshing and light whilst not even bordering on watery. A very well brewed zwickel. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 23, 2005
Bottle. Cloudy yellow in colour - kind of a cross between a witbier and a hefe. Aroma was yeasty with lemon citrus and some malt. The flavour had a mild bitterness, malty, yeasty, musty with some sour lemons as well. Medium body, high carbonation. Finishes with a long citrus bitterness. Quite nice. Thanks for sharing this one with me Adam. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - NOV 6, 2010
50cl bottle from the doemens stash. Pretty clear gold color with a lasting white head. Decent intensity of spicy and herbaceous hops in the nose. A little malt but it’s pretty innocuous on that front. Pleasant bitterness wraps up a pretty much pils malt flavor. Some spicy hop flavor rounds it out. Well balanced. Kind of a German pils flavor with the body of an export or bohemian pils. Nice stuff.

Quite hazy, yellow color. Yeasty aroma, fresh, sourly, malty. Malty, barley notes, spicy. Dry aftertaste. My favourite austrian Zwickel. finol (3466) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2017
Bottle from Craft beer store Hamburg.
Pours hazy golden.
Malty aroma with a hint of grass.
Smooth, malty and quite bitter brew. henrikb (1263) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2007
Slightly hazy light golden body, lots of fine bubbles, medium sized bubbles in head with good duration; Malty warm nose (I think the beer is served a little to warm as well) with quite a bit of yeast character to it, pleasantly balanced, but not really deep or complex; Huge big bubbled carbonation very fitting on soft a little thin body, very pleasant and balanced but again not a lot of complexity or depth, malty bitter and a little yeasty harsh; Quite long finish, slightly malty bitter and a little yeasty harsh, lots of lasting aromas again a bit to plain, simple and not deep enough, malty soft aromas and plain yeast. Alright and very drinkable beer, it lacks character and complexity in all aspects. renffisch (891) - london, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2008

Bottle 50 cl. Poured golden in colour with off-white head. Malt, spices and citrus fruits in aroma. Flavour lemon and spices. Interesting zwickelbier. Very crisp with a lemony twist in the end.
