Formerly brewed at Brouwerij de Molen
Flemish Oud Bruin, with lactobacillus,
fermented in Bordeaux and whisky
barrels, and afterwards blended.
Not very sour , the bordeaux barrels
really take center stage. Supremely
sophisticated woody aged malt flavor.
Mild milky to a whisky dense caramel
malt base. Nice blend which gives a
distinct more "serious" malt base from
the whisky compared to many other
Flemish oud bruins, as a consequence
the body is more full and smooth.
