Danish: Navnet afslører det allerede: Her er én der godt kan li´ skaldyr. Strandskaden, som på engelsk passende hedder ”Oystercatcher”, er en livlig sort-hvid-mønstret vadefugl med et langt rødt næb der nærmest ligner en gulerod. Denne øl er brygget i skaldyr-øjemed og kan tænkes i selskab med hummer, jomfruhummer, kammmusling etc. Ud over at være en Red Ale med sart rød farve og en parfumeret duft af nødder, passionsfrugt, druer og stikkelsbær er det særlige ved denne øl, at den er tilsat havvand – hentet lige uden for den bornholmske klippekyst. Saltvandet er tilsat brygget under mæskningen og har til opgave at forstærke smagen – lige som når man laver mad derhjemme.
