Europa is the first of two beers, released in early 2011, that showcase the differences of a single ingredient. Like the Nerdherder and Monster series did with hops, these beers illuminate the difference that yeast makes in a low strength sessionable summer ale ("Europa" uses a clean German ale yeast, while "Rapture" emplys the fruitier notes of a Belgian abbey yeast).
Europa: Pale and wheat malts, Nelson Sauvin and NZ Cascade hops, German ale yeast.
Rapture: Pale and wheat malts, Nelson Sauvin and NZ Cascade hops, Belgian abbey yeast.
