Brewed by Greene King
Bury St. Edmunds, England
Contract brewed from 2002 - August 2005 at Ridleys.
Greene King XX Mild is a fine, dark, mild ale with a distinctive taste and delicate aroma. It draws its characteristics from a special blend of black and crystal malts to give a burnt, roasted flavour while the delicate hint of hops in the nose comes from the Northdown variety.
Greene King report on brewery tours that after rationalisation the recipe for Kimberley Best Mild is used for their XX Mild and other milds.
