This English Style Pale Ale is a favorite homebrew recipe of head Brewer Brian Lonberg, scaled up for our much larger system. It is brewed with rye, and flavored with Black, Green and Sichuan Peppercorns, as well as a little fresh Bay Leaf. The body is rich and malty, but not at all heavy, and the rye adds a spicy note; the aroma is perfumed with the Oriental, somewhat tea-like Sichuan Peppercorns and fresh spicy green aroma of the Bay; and the bitterness of the English tasting hop profile is accentuated with the bite and brine of the peppercorns.
