This beer is an experiment gone horribly right. David smoked jalapeño and habanero peppers at home on his Big Green Egg, enough to add one pound of peppers per barrel as a dry-hop for this bad boy. The base beer is a strong brown ale made with a touch of brown sugar. The result is a refreshing, lighter-bodied beer with a sneaky spice component that creeps in during the aftertaste, rounded off by a quick sweetness.
