This NW style sour blond ale was barrel aged for six months before additionally aging on dried mulberries for another month. Aromas of sweet candy, white figs and faint citrus notes rise from the glass to greet you. A soft sweetness of cereal notes dance on the palate and lead to a lightly tart and grainy finish. The mulberries impart both the lemon and the cereal notes. Look for a hint of graham cracker to develop as the barrel evolves during the first week.
