Originally brewed in the Ruddles brewery in Oakham, Leicestershire
(Rutland); moved in 1997 to the Morland brewery in Abingdon, Oxfordshire; finally moved in 2000 to the Greene King brewery in Bury St Edmunds when the strength was reduced to 4.3% and the character was changed.
