O estilo Pale Ale Surgiu em Burton-on-Trent, na Inglaterra. Surgiu através da tentativa dos cervejeiros em desenvolver uma cerveja mais consistente e clara.É uma cerveja da família Ale. A Cerveja Bierland Pale Ale possui cor âmbar acobreada, é limpa e brilhante. Seu aroma remete a suave frutado, caramelo e notas cítricas. No paladar a presença de três diferentes tipos de malte lhe confere nuances de caramelo, além de notas de malte. Os dois tipos de lúpulo se destacam ao final,trazendo bom amargor e final seco. Harmoniza bem com carnes vermelhas e queijos que passam por longos períodos de maturação,como por exemplo grana padano ou parmesão.
