Brewed by Boscos Brewing Company (Roma Pomodori)
This beer starts as the Boscos Oatmeal Stout (brewed with Pale Malt, Roasted Barley, Black Malt, Simpson Oatmalt and flaked Oatmeal to a gravity of ~ 1.059; using Goldings and Fuggle hops for bittering and aroma to ~ 33 IBUs). Zwickel bier (beer) is taken out the Unitanks during the secondary fermentation. This is an old tradition in Germany, especially in Bamberg (Frankonia), Düsseldorf and Köln. Our Zwickel Choco Stout was taken out the secondary Unitank (5 gallons), and mixed with ~ 40 grams of Hershey's Cocoa powder.
