Brewed by Deschutes Brewery
Brewed using traditional Scottish method. North West Two Row malt, roasted barley, Munich malt & carapils are mashed in at a higher temperature to produce a very sweet viscous wort. Extended boil time then begins to caramelize the wort. This is essential to achieve desired color. Scottish Ales are malty brews with little to no hop aroma, yet a heavy hop presence.
