KyotoLefty (10207) - Kyoto, JAPAN - NOV 13, 2010
Large bottle bought in Paris in Dec. 2006, but as I couldn’t find any info about it or who made it, left un-posted. It says it contains rosehips (gratte-cul), also seems like it might have a bit of wheat in it.
Dark golden color, orange tint. Very cloudy, good head.
Aroma of coriander and other spices, decent malt with yeast. A bit of citrus as well.
Flavor is slightly sweet with a sour, citrus edge as well. Lots of coriander. I cannot taste the rosehips per se, although they might be adding the citrus flavor. High carbonation, medium body.
Finish is slightly sour, spicy, malty. Not a lot of hops, although the balance is altogether good. Like a good Belgian spiced ale. Very nice. Jerre (3319) - Waregem, BELGIUM - AUG 9, 2010
Yersterday @ home from bottle (bought @ Carrefour at Argeton, France)
Hazy darkgolden to orange color.
Aroma fruits, bit hops. Medium body.
Taste very fruity, sweet, malts, good hops, and bitter touch.
Not a top beer, but pleasant to drink.
I like more the "Blanche" from this 3 new beers.
