COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tasted as drought beer right next to Ratsherrn brewery, Hamburg. Red, brown colour, sweet & smooth. Not too strong and good for having lunch.

Cooles Bier in ziemlich roter Färbung. Mit 5,2 etwas mehr Alkohol als üblich. Sehr würzig, mit (leider) teilweise süßlichen Noten. Optik perfekt mit pur weissem Schaum.

The beer has a beautiful color. The color is ruby red, not that dark. In strong light, the beer has a beautiful orange red glow. The beer is quite clear. The beer pours a thick layer of soft creamy foam. The foam is slightly off white. The most foam collapses, but a thin drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The beer has a nice smell. I bock beer. The beer has aroma’s of caramel, red cherries, alcohol, brown sugar. There is also a little roast aroma. This roast aroma gives the beer a nice dark bitter sweet aroma. It is really nice for the autumn. The smell also has some licorice in it. The taste is very nice. I taste everything the smell also has to offer. There is caramel, fruitiness, alcohol, sugar and the nice roast flavor. It tastes just like most bock beers, which I love. This really is a nice beer. Congratulations.

Nice English fruit-malt taste w great balance and a nice lean of hop buttering. Hint chico, hint lemon, palate is not cloying making for a soft but very respectable beer, I could session this.

bottle from bierpost.com. Clear amber-brownish colour, mid-sized off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts and caramel. Medium-bodied elicious malt flavours with a biscuity touch and caramel, fudge and roasetd malts - really really good. Rounded off by some pleasant aromatic hops. Smooth and velvety overal character, bitter-sweet in the mouth long after swallowing. Very, very good.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, reddish copper colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Toasty malty and nutty aroma with notes of caramel, a tinge of molasses and a subtle berry-fruity touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a pleasantly calm and well-matured carbonation. Solid roast-malty taste with loads of caramel/burnt sugar, dark chocolate and mocha with a drying hops character in the backyard; dry-ish, mildly sweet roasty and bitter hoppy finish with subtle fruity notes. Good. 03.IX.12
