(Draught at Fritz Braugasthaus, Stralsund, 2014). Sweet scent of malt, honey, citrus and yeast. Sweet taste of malt, wheat, citrus, yeast and hops. The aftertaste is sweet and sticky and a little off.

ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - OCT 27, 2016
Bottle. Banana pulp, baked apple, subtle clove, dough. Very fruity yet still not crisp enough to compete with the best within the style. But it’s tasty nonetheless.

SinH4 (6124) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2016
Bottle from a supermarket in Tübingen. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is sweet dough, sugar coated pastry. Taste is more sweet dough and sugar coating, way too sweet, watery mouthfeel. Not good.

MiP (15962) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 28, 2016
Bottle, 5.4%. Malty wheat beer aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Small stable off-white head. OK malty caramelly flavour. Low bitterness. Clean finish.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and over ripe bananas. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and over ripe bananas.

Hazy dark golden color with medium white head. Not the classic Hefeweizen aroma, lots of spices, citrus and not much banana. Sweet flavour, citrusy, bubblegum and overriped banana, with a good spicy kick. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Not really my favourite within the style.

jawe (40) - Berlin, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2015
Dark hazy orange. Smell is ripe banana, quite intensive. The taste tends to be on the bitter side. Faint hint of fruits in the background. Quite filling and heavy in the mouth. Very solid Weissbier.

Gangstergafje (1231) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - SEP 25, 2015
The beer looks like a proper witbier. The color is orange yellow, maybe you can call it amber. The beer is very cloudy, which isn’t surprising for a witbier. The beer forms a nice layer of soft and rather rough foam when pouring. The bulk of the foam collapses, but a thin soft drape of foam remains on top of the foam. The smell of the beer is delicious. I smell a sweet fruity aroma. It reminds me of banana’s. There is also this witbier zest aroma, which is delicious. There is also a thick sweet nose filling aroma, which is delicious. I can’t quite put my finger on it, it is somewhat creamy. I also smell some hops. There is a lot going on in the smell. I love it. The taste is slightly less than the smell. The taste loses some sweetness and gains a little more bitterness. The balance is slightly of towards the bitterness. The fruitiness is slightly milder, which is a pity. The fruits are so delicious. The taste does have some hops. This is nice as well, but just not as good as the smell. All in all, a very nice beer.

SlackerMads (3479) - DENMARK - SEP 25, 2015
Bottle. Murky hazelnut brown with a large tan head with good retention and lace. Fruity nose with banana, honey, cloves, hay. Flavour follows the same lines; over ripe banana, honey, cloves, hay, light brown sugar, golden raisins. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, filling sweetness, light bitter, very light acidity. Long fruity finish. Soft and easy going.

3.3
culchiem (4104) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 24, 2015
Draught at Altes Madchem. Cloudy brown with a medium head. Aroma is caramel and chocolate. Flavour is fruity, spiced banana, dry caramel wheat. Long dry finish.
