Also known as Brick By Brick "Unknown Shore"

Virdami šį alų naudojome belgišką "Cara Aroma", "Munic II", "Cara Munich", "Pilsner" salyklus. Alų brandinome su kiek paskrudintomis prancūziško ąžuolo drožlemis, suteikiančiomis savitą skonį. Paslaptingą ir neatrastą tarsi nežinomas krantas.

Its just amber color ale-lager. Some unpleasant and sharp palate corners with almost no complementary sweetness or hops flavor. I would put it in category "brewed as something..." Dark amber color, pours with min, white top. Tastes like sharp grain water with some peppery notes but its not even close to dubbel. No.

Bottle. 6.0%. Best before 02.06.18. As 'Brick By Brick Unknown Shore Oak Dubbel'. Pours a dark red/brown, with a tan head. Malty aroma, with dark fruits, raisin, caramel. Hint of liquorice. Light wood note as it warms. Flavour is malty, with dark fruits, caramel, hint of liquorice, smoke. Same finish, with a bit of raisin thrown in. (Harsh) bitterness. Lingering ashy, roasted, wood notes, hint of chocolate. Overall good; lot of character. But maybe a wee bit too cloying in the long run. 03.03.18.

33 cl. bottle @ Home (gift from my sister's trip to Lithuania). Aroma: quite intense aromas of toasted malts, roasted malts, sweet malts. Hints of sweet alcohol, prunes, dates, raisins, dark dried fruits, coffee, cappuccino, spices. Hops not noticeable in the aroma. Appearance: brown to deep brown color with light brown and very creamy foam. Medium to high head thickness with very high retention. Low Brussels' lacing. The beer seems very dark, but it seems to have low to medium hazyness. Taste: medium sweetness, low bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of toasted and roasted malts, dark dried fruits like raisins, prunes, dates. Hints of coffee, spices, nuts, caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Hops not noticeable in the flavor. Balance is toward the sweet side. No astringency noticeable. Palate: light to medium body, watery texture, flat carbonation, quite long sweet finish with low to medium sweetness and flavors of toasted and roasted malts, dark dried fruits (prunes, raisins, dates) and hints of coffee, spices, nuts, brown sugar, caramel. Alcohol is only noticeable through hints of alcohol sweetness and a little bit of throat warming. Overall: appearance is very good. Aromas and flavors are quite intense and pleasant. Lots of toasted and roasted malts, prunes, raisins, dates, dark dried fruits. Hints of coffee, nuts, caramel. Overall, a good beer, the sweetness is not cloying, and the beer is quite drinkable and enjoyable. It would be better with more body and a less watery texture. Not the best representation of the style but good beer.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2017 Lekkere dubbel met tonen van laurier (drop), karamel en wat honing. Mooi gelaagd bier uit Litouwen - dat daar uiteraard het beste smaakt.

Bottle from Iki. Clear brown color tan coca cola head, looks like Coke overall. Aroma of raw brown bread. Taste is brown sugar and brown bread. Tastes like a gira with alcohol.

It’s drinkable but I don’t like it, to be blunt. RP usually makes good stuff but this is just impenetrably dark, muddy, sedimentary/astringent stuff, a bit like mildly alcoholic coffee grinds. Not recommended (gift from LT, 11.2 oz bottle)
